Santa Fe Springs, Calif., November 09, 2001 - Sims Digital today launched the VoicePen DVR, its new voice recorder that allows users to quickly email their voice messages or recordings to colleagues, friends, or family immediately. Recipients of the voice mail receive the message as an email, including the message player software, which instantly launches when opened to play the message. At a mere 1 inch by 4 inches and weighing only 30grams, the Voice Pen DVR provides over 13 hours of high quality digital voice recording time and a 400-message capacity, which can be organized in different files for easy identification and retrieval of messages.

VoicePen DVR may be used as a traditional voice recorder by speaking into the built in microphone or can be used to record a meeting by using the included plug-in microphone. With the VoicePen DVR a user may also record a phone conversation with the included phone adapter and immediately email the message to a business associate who could not be present.
